I am having a hard time identifying if my MacBook Pro will handle more than the 4 gigs of ram.
I am also looking to upgrade hard drive to 320 Gig 7200 rpm. Need help with models. Serial ATA ??
My hardware details are 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo currently 4 gb 1067MHz DDR3 Serial No. W89165078Q1

Your machine is likely the MacBookPro5,1 Late 2008 which is the only 2.4 GHz 15″ model with 1067 MHz (DDR3-1066/PC3-8500) RAM
All DDR3-1066 MacBook Pros can go to 8 GB RAM total with 2 x 4 GB SODIMMs as long as you are up to date with the Apple firmware (you should be if you are on 10.8)
They can take any 9.5mm or 7mm 2.5″ SATA hard drive from 320 GB to 1 TB. (9.5mm is the most common height for laptop drives)
